The first CAS-E podcast was produced on April 11, 2024. Under the moderation of Director Prof. Michael Lackner, Dr. Christof Niederwieser, Dr. Darrell Rutkin and Prof. Kocku von Stuckrad discussed various topics related to astrology: its history, its theoretical foundations, the different scholarly approaches to interpretation and the fundamental question of its persuasive power and its amazing resilience. Two historians of science (Rutkin, von Stuckrad) and a – very successful – practitioner (Niederwieser) have engaged in a conversation about a topic that genuinely touches on CAS-E’s field of research.
