The object of the research is the cult of holy places in Kyrgyzstan and related ritual practices. The subject of the research can be called the socio-cultural content of this cult and practices of pilgrimage. The following questions are outlined accordingly:

1. Shamanic, spiritualist and healing narratives that preserve images of historical, social and ethnocultural memory.

2. Reflection of historical and cultural figures and events in neo-shamanic narratives, spiritual healing practices and ritual texts.

3. New features in the cult of sacred places in Kyrgyzstan, modern trends, images and artifacts in line with New Age.
